LightXtreme VPN Terms of Service

LightXtreme VPN terms, written for people who would rather read a short page than a long one. They cover account registration, buying a plan, using the client and getting support, and they answer three questions directly: how a subscription is counted, when a refund is available, and what use is not allowed. Downloading, installing or using the service means you accept these terms.

1. Straight routes, clear rules

The service accelerates connections across regions and protects your privacy, with clients for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux plus extensions for the main browsers, backed by more than 2,000 servers in 70+ countries and regions, and the client shows the nodes you may pick.

Trials and plans

A first download includes a 30-minute free trial, after which the service works on a subscription, and on every plan a single account may be online on 3 devices at the same time.

Payment options

Payment is possible through Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe, the plan activates straight after the payment is taken, and how quickly the money settles depends on the provider you chose.

2. Refunds, plainly stated

We stand behind a 30-day money-back guarantee, so within 30 days of activation you may ask for a refund from the client or by email and tell us how the service performed, and once a refund is approved the plan ends, while plans beyond 30 days or partly used are not refundable unless the law says otherwise.

Credit when servers falter

When our servers cause a long stretch of connection failures and you report it quickly, extending your subscription may be used as compensation.

3. Using the service responsibly

While using LightXtreme VPN you must follow the laws and the network usage rules where you live, and you must not use the service for anything unlawful, including but not limited to:

  • attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
  • bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
  • transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
  • using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.

Accounts that ignore these requirements may have access suspended, features restricted, or the account closed, and serious cases can lead to legal action.

4. Ownership and rights

The LightXtreme VPN client software, website content, interface design, icons and word marks are the intellectual property of LightXtreme VPN and the relevant rightsholders, so copying, modifying, decompiling, redistributing or commercial use needs written permission, while personal data produced by lawful use of the service stays with you.

Changes to the product

Features, node layout, plan pricing and promotions may be adjusted from time to time and every revision appears on this website, and when a revision affects the rights in a plan you are told in advance, with customers who already paid keeping the old terms until their paid period ends.

Limits of our responsibility

As far as the law allows, LightXtreme VPN cannot be held responsible for dropped connections or speed swings caused by force majeure, a carrier fault or a local policy change, and because a VPN reroutes the traffic you send, a few sites may still refuse connections that arrive through a VPN.
